Cerró del Tosoro

Cerró del Tesoro is a certified Campo de Calatrava PDO extra virgin olive oil. It is a coupage extracted from Cornicabra olives, providing bright color, a fruity aroma and sweetness. Picual olives give the oil a slightly spicy and mildly bitter taste. The name Cerró del Tesoro comes from the hill where the trees grow. According to legend, a treasure was buried here centuries ago. Whether or not this is true, the liquid gold produced by its centuries-old olive trees is its own treasure.
