Mas Des Barres

Harvested early, this is the typical oil of the Vallée des Baux de Provence appellation. It is composed of a blend of several varieties (as required by the appellation), mainly Salonenque and Béruguette (also known as Aglandau), and in smaller quantities of Verdale des Bouches du Rhône and Grossane. The green fruitiness is a full-bodied oil characterized by its pungency. Béruguette brings its pungency and flavors of artichokes and almonds, while Salonenque, milder in taste, adds notes of artichokes and hazelnuts. The green fruitiness is ideal for cooking.
