Seeing it today, Villa Bottona looks like a castle surrounded by greenery, a few steps from the blue waters of Lake Garda. The villa, named after the large barrels where the wine produced was once kept, assumes its current appearance only at the end of the 19th century. The original building is much older, but before 1872 history was forgotten by the mists of time. It is certain, however, that those who first lived in Villa Bottona took care of the grounds enjoying the beautiful climate of the lake.
