Following in the steps of our forefathers, using traditional methods of collection and processing, we produce two varieties of extra virgin olive oil rich in taste and with a plethora of health benefits.

🌿 HIGH PHENOLIC (509mg/kg) & RICH IN ANTIOXIDANTS - Olive oil is the single most important ingredient in almost all recipes of the Mediterranean diet, a diet renowned for its unparalleled and well-established health benefits. Especially our Polyphenols Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil is rich in natural antioxidants that greatly contribute to the overall health of our bodies and benefit our cardiovascular condition.

✅ LOW ACIDITY <0.2% - Ranks amongst the highest quality EVOO

 🏅 AWARD WINNING PREMIUM EVOO

Our Premium Extra Virgin Oil is the result of a selective collection of olives derived from the "Athinolia" variety, which is collected and processed on the same day. Featuring a balanced and fruity taste; not too bitter, not too mature; with a low acidity of less than 0.2% (legal limit :0.8%) , it is ranked among the most premium EVOO. Being rich in polyphenols contributes to the overall health of the body and the lower level of acidity means there are less unwanted free fatty acids.

Lately the Athinolia variety has been connected with the highest indicators in content of total polyphenols and it is considered to be superior compared to all other Greek varieties.

Our Land...

Asopos is a small village of Lakonia, on the Peloponnese peninsula, in Southern Greece, situated in a fertile valley stretching between the mountain range of Parnon and the Laconic bay, covering an area of 80.000 roods.

Founded in ancient times, Asopos made great progress during the Roman Era up to the early Byzantine period. The castle-town of Monemvasia is the capital of the province, which in statistical reports of 1828 listed a total of 26.500 olive trees and counted 55 olive mills.

In Asopos Olive Groves we use two varieties of olive cultivars: “Koroneiki” and “Athinolia.”

The former bears small fruits but with a high quality of oil yield, while the latter, cultivated solely in Asopos village, yields extra virgin oil of exceptionally high concentration in polyphenols, the potent antioxidants agents of nature.

Our Promise...

Remaining true to our family’s legacy is a duty we have promised to carry on with respect and honour. Our family values and our love for the olive tree are instilled in all our products of extra virgin olive oil.

We collect, process and bottle the natural juice of the olive tree fruit under strict conditions and procedures that ensure the exceptional quality and superior taste of our “Protected Geographical Indication” extra virgin olive oil.

To achieve the desired quality we implement the AGRO 2.1 & 2.2 integrated production management system, while the bottling is done according to the international recognized standards of ISO 22000 & IFS FOOD.

Above all else, though, we promise to pass on our love and knowledge of oil production down in generations to come, continuing and reinforcing our family’s precious legacy.
