ABOUT CORTIJO LA TORRE
Aceites Cortijo la Torre has a large area of its own olive trees, which allows us to collect and select the best olives at the right point of ripeness, thus obtaining our oil at its optimum moment, the olives are ground by the cold extraction method, which allows us to obtain the true olive juice in the form of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Our olive mill, formerly called "Molino de Aceite de San Isidro", was built and has been producing olive oil since 1888, under the duchy of La Torre, belonging to General Serrano. Since then, more than a century later, the Bueno Fernández family continues its activity manufacturing oils of proven quality, healthy virtues and special flavors. The organoleptic tests carried out by experienced professional tasters corroborate this, as well as the different national and international awards of flavor and quality obtained by our brand "Cortijo la Torre Premium", in this way, Aceites Cortijo La Torre, controls the process of elaboration of EVOO from beginning to end; from the tree, through the fruit, to the processes of elaboration and packaging, all of which implies in terms of quality and food safety.
It evokes freshly cut grass, olive leaf, tomato plant, almond and artichoke, generating a great complexity in aromas. It presents a sweet entry in the mouth, an almond aftertaste that recalls the aromatic perception and a pleasant bitterness and spiciness that disappears, leaving at the end the sensation of a balanced and full-bodied oil.
Cortijo la Torre elabora un Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra de agradable sabor, que se puede consumir en crudo, o bien, cocinando alimentos, a los que aporta un toque de distinción.
