Nikos and Kalambokas both teaches at Plumaki on the island of Levosin Greece, and people who love the riches condition of our land decided to create Eirini Plomariou Olive Oil. They aim originality, quality, and still wisdom of our tradition. Painstakingly working on the the fields that had been abandoned for some time. They managed to create a model of an organic olive grove, and saw their labor blessed with an olive oil of high nutritional value.
To shield this unique blend, the olive oil is placed unfiltered into beautiful bottles and marketed as the award winning organic olive oil which has ardent admirers all over the world.You will see for yourselves that the bottle does not contain just the olive oil, but also the love and care of Nikos and Myrta. It is love for the Earth and its fruits passed on to them by Grandma Eirini, whose name honors the product displayed on the label. This is Eirni Plomariou Olive Oil.

The island of Lesvos, in Greece, is known for its silvery green hills where olive trees have stood since prehistoric times. Its volcanic soil has helped make the olive oil produced on the island one of the best in the world.
Love What We Do
Harvesting starts in early November. Olives, not yet quite ripe, are picked directly from the branch, since we do not allow them to fall to the ground. We want our olives to reach the olive press fresh, juicy and not quite 'done' yet on the very same day they were picked. Any olives that fall to the ground belong to the birds and animals living in our farm.

Nikos, Myrta and their children have been the soul of the family firm since 1996 and they are devoted to the organic cultivation of olive trees throughout the year producing EIRINI PLOMARIOU, an award winning unfiltered organic extra virgin olive oil, which is a Protected Geographical Indication (P.G.I. Mytilini) product, certified by the European Union.

The olive tree variety grown in the area is the kolovi also knows as valanolia. Its fruit if picked when not yet quite ripe gives an olive oil which is bright golden yellow in color with green hues, a strong fruity taste and an earthy bouquet, with tones of freshly cut grass, oregano, rosemary and bitter almond.
