It is a product that is produced from pure and virgin lands, but it has not been shown to the wider consumer public until now, and this is the exclusive purpose of our company.

The Magic of Epirus
The choice of the mid-fruit olive variety of Thesprotia, for our olive oil range, is not accidental. It is a rare variety of olive, with a rich taste and nutritional elements, that thrives in the north of the prefecture of Thesprotia.
You date its first appearance hundreds of years back as you say that some Venetian traders coming to the northern coast of the continent were responsible for its arrival. Since then, the quantities of olive oil produced from this variety are limited because it was not widely cultivated. It usually serves the needs of the residents of the wider area. Epirou Vios, through its line of olive oils, wanted to give the rest of the world the opportunity to experience this truly special taste.

Monitoring our trees
We monitor very closely the development of the olive development cycle: (blastogenesis, flowering, fruit setting, fruit ripening) in all the main olive producing zones and we try to predict early enough the olive growing zones that will give the excellent quality we want.
The Mesokopos olive variety of Thesprotia thrives exclusively in the North of the prefecture. As a result, the production of this particular olive oil is available in specific quantities, for this reason it is characterized as monovarietal. Also, due to the height of the trees and the morphology of the soil, the olives are harvested in the traditional way (sticking and workers on the trees).
Our purpose is to highlight the particularity of our single-varietal species, for this reason our olive oil is stored in stainless steel tanks with a strictly controlled temperature (18 degrees), with all legal specifications ready for filtering, packaging and standardization
