THE COMPANY

The Frantoio Buraschi was born in 1966 from the passion for oil of Otello Buraschi, the company has grown over the years as the love for work and the product "extra virgin olive oil", passed on to his daughters Alessandra and Emanuela, who today continue in this activity with great dedication and respect for tradition.

THE CRUSHER

The mill's activity begins at the end of September and lasts until the end of December; in this period olives from the Montepulciano area and the surrounding area are processed.
The milling process, at our family oil mill, is performed with a continuous cycle cold extraction system, with Pieralisi machinery; the plant is certified for processing: Biological, Tuscan IGP and Terre di Siena DOP.
The olives from the appropriately selected olive groves are pressed within 5 hours of their arrival at our mill, for the production of our: TUSCAN IGP EVO oil - ORGANIC EVO oil - TERRE DI SIENA DOP EVO oil - ITALIAN EVO oil.

EXPERIENCES

VISIT THE MILL AND TASTING LESSON

With the guided tour of the oil mill you will understand how the EVO oil is produced through the various machinery, from the entry of the olives into the company to the exit of the oil.

A tasting lesson will follow where you will learn to understand and recognize the defects and organoleptic qualities of extra virgin olive oil.

At the end of the lesson, which will take place in the Frantoio kitchen, you will taste the bruschetta with our: ORGANIC EVO Oil – TUSCAN IGP EVO Oil – ITALIAN EVO Oil, accompanied by a glass of wine.

TYPICAL TUSCAN PASTA COOKING COURSE



With our fresh pasta course, you will learn how to prepare the typical first courses of our Valdichiana Senese area, starting from pici, tagliatelle, gnocchi and ravioli, accompanied by tasty sauces made with seasonal products and our oils EVO.

The course, which will take place in the kitchen of the mill, will be held by Alessandra and Emanuela, supervised by their mother Carla who will reveal the secrets of the success of each dish.

At the end of the cooking class, you will taste the prepared dishes, accompanied by a glass of wine and a small gift

TUSCAN COOKING COURSE

In our cooking class we will try, through food, to convey the Tuscan lifestyle, which has been handed down to us through our grandmothers and mothers, who are an expression of our Valdichiana Senese.
