The Renieris family has its own OLIVE GROVES. At the same time, it has accomplished to organize a major part of the local cultivators into a system of complete administration. The agriculturalist of the company gives expert advice to the farmers and supervises the olive cultivation in order to make the produced olives reach a high quality standard.
The Renieris company has in its own disposal two OLIVE MILLS capable to produce three tones of olive oil per hour. The oil mills are placed in central points, at the cultivation areas, in order to ensure the direct collection of the olives from the olive grove and the instant squeeze, processes that ensure the higher quality of the produced olive oil.
A contemporary CHEMISTRY LABORATORY, recognized from the International Olive Oil Council, equipped with specialized machines capable to realize every specified chemical analysis and a fully instructed chemist guarantee the quality of the olive oil.
The entry at the section of BOTTLING & STANDARDIZATION took place in 1992 with the function of the first packing department of the company, with limited though capability. Today's ultra - contemporary installations, extending in 8.000 square meters is the result of hard work and devotion the Renieris brothers showed at their common aim. After completing the last expansion of its production capacity the Renieris company runs two independent bottling lines which are capable of producing 10.000 bottles-tins per hour, two production lines for TIN containers and one for PET bottles. The total olive oil storage capacity of the company reaches 6000 tons.
In 2015, El. Renieris & Co starts the construction of an ultramodern physical olive oil and olive pomace oil REFINING PLANT. After completing the constructions in 2019, the company owns and runs the first edible oil refinery in the island of Crete.
El. Renieris & Co was founded in 1982 when it built an olive oil mill in the village of Sfakopigadi in Kissamos, where the Renieris family maintains its olive groves.
In 1989, the company went beyond production and operated in the marketing and standardization of olive oil.
In 1996 it founded a branch of olive oil standardization and marketing in Kissamos, Chania.
At the same time, the company decided to stop its activity in the Greek market and devote itself exclusively to exports.
In 2006, it was proceeding with the modernization and expansion of the standardization plant. At the same time, the company invested in the quality of its products starting the operation of a fully-equipped chemistry laboratory.
In 2015, El. Renieris & Co expanded its storage capacity and tank farm, installed a new bottling line for extra virgin olive oil and started the construction of an ultramodern physical olive oil and olive-pomace oil refining plant.
In 2019, the company installed one PET bottling line and one TIN production line for bottling refined olive oil and olive pomace oil. Moreover, the company changed its legal form and name.
It changed from a Limited Partnership company to a Private Company (P.C.) with new company name «RENIERIS P.C.» and distinctive title «EL. RENIERIS & Co». In 2020, El. Renieris & Co expanded its existing tank farm adding stainless steel tanks with total capacity of 2500 tons of olive oil. Nowadays, El. Renieris & Co is a 100% export company with partnerships and cooperation with some of the biggest distributors and retailers in more than 40 countries.
The decades of experience of the Renieris family in the production of olive oil, the new facilities of 8.000 square meters, the existing tank farm of 6000 tons of olive oil and its fully equipped Chemical Laboratory guarantee the perfect quality control of its products from cultivation up until bottling.
