La cultivada Arbequina
La cultivada Arbequina
Organic, Biodynamic & Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The arbequina variety of olive is as highly prized as 100% Arabica is in the world of coffee. The reason for this lies in its fruity flavour and its low level of bitterness.
Unlike other oils of this variety, La Cultivada Arbequina is notable for its greenness and lingering aftertaste, qualities which result from the special care taken during production and the subsequent storage of the oil. We were pioneers in the cultivation of this variety in Andalusia.
In order to obtain just one litre of La Cultivada Arbequina, we need approximately 12 kilos of olives.
ORGANOLEPTIC PROFILE
An oil of medium-high fruitiness, with primarily green notes. An exceptionally fresh, limpid oil with aromas of apple, banana peel and green almond, combined with hints of freshly cut grass and soft floral scents.
On the palate, a leafy green flavour predominates alongside banana and green almond, with just a touch of bitterness and a mildly spicy finish.
Achieves a good balance between the nose and the palate.
A complex arbequina with its own distinct personality.
FOOD PAIRINGS

La Cultivada Arbequina brings together the flavours of different foods without overpowering them due to the lack of bitterness.
