TERROIR
The olives are exclusively from the Provence terroir, the Sélection H de Leos fruity green oil has been produced by Leos’s staff, under Christine Cheylan’s supervision at the Moulin Castelas. The olives are picked during the day and are pressed immediately like all H de Leos oils.
VARIETY OF OLIVES
Essentially Aglandau and Salonenque.
TASTING NOTES
Benefitting from a great aromatic power with a good length in the mouth, it offers an "Original" fruity green taste with a "fresh" intensity and refined bitterness. It is characterised by its colour (pale green with yellow highlights) and its aromatic complexity dominated by artichoke and hazelnut aromas typical of an «Original» fruity green oil.
TASTING ADVICE
Although fruity green oils can be used raw or cooked, we recommend using it raw as a finishing touch on any kind food or dish, savoury and sweet. It can also be used on summer fruits like strawberries with a dash of sugar, or on autumn fruits (apples, pears…) in pies or cakes.
