Olio Quattrociocchi History

The “Quattrociocchi Americo” organic farm has its roots far back in time. The history of this family business begins in the mid-nineteenth century, in the heart of ancient Ciociaria in Alatri, land of the Cyclops, halfway between Rome and Naples. It is here that the succession of generations of farmers have gradually focused their activity on the cultivation of olives and their transformation into what everyone now recognizes to be the green gold. It is also from the territory, in fact, as well as from the family passion handed down over the centuries, that the genuineness and exclusivity of these productions derive, which have led to achieve results and awards among the most important in Italy and in the world in the last ten years. This is how, today, the Quattrociocchi Americo brand is known in about 50 foreign countries where its products are appreciated, which are no longer only extra virgin olive oil and its derivatives but also flavored oils, preserves, vegetables in oil. , sauces and jams, also the result of research and the rediscovery of traditional local recipes. The perfect mix of specific skills on the subject and entrepreneurial spirit is the winning combination that has allowed the company to become a real point of reference for the entire olive and agricultural sector in the world. Its products today come from organic and non-organic productions, located in displaced land, as well as in Ciociaria, also on the sunny hills in the province of Latina, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. “Joop Japan” International Award, “Gambero Rosso” Three Leaves, “Slow Food” award, and others. In 2011, 2013, 2014 it was awarded the award of Best Olive Oil in the World and in 2018 as the Best Company in the World, by the most important internationally recognized trade association: Flos Olei.
